Can anyone offer any advice on this problem I am trying to sort out before buying a house on the Peljesac. The problem is that there is an inconsistency with the measurements on the title document and the possession document from the cadastre. The area of land in question is just a bit of land at the side of the road near the house used as a common parking area. I have been told and have read that all information in terms of ownership and sizes MUST match up for the ministry of foreign affairs to approve my application to be entered into the land registry when all paperwork is submitted. I have approached the agent who has told me that the different measurements do not matter, only the ownership is important.
Should I make sure this is resolved by insisting that the measurements match or is it safe to go ahead and purchase the property?
If I need to solve the problem how do I go about this?
Do I also need to see and check the building and usage certificates? The agent has told me these are not neccessary when the documents are submitted but I have been told otherwise.
Regards Charlie
