Hello Peter, I have heard from Croatia that theCroatian government will pass a law in the next 10 days where people would not be allowed to build any new buildings within 100m of the sea. Also within the area of 1500m to the sea one would need to get a special permission! Can you confirm whether you are aware of this change-as if it is true it will certainly fuel more price inflation for existing seaside stock. Martin

Hi Martin
We've been checking on this but have nothing confirmed. The parliament office knows nothing of it. Other people have suggested that it will only apply to any new applications in respect of change of use of land and that existing permissions will remain. If we get more information, I'll post it here. We have some enquiries still in hand in Zagreb.
