Sorry. I asked it in the subject! How long does it take in Croatia to set up a company if I want one to invest in some property? Thanks Anne

It depends on the court in the town that you register in. In Zagreb it is around a month. In Rijecka about a week. In other places it can be longer. I'm told that in Slavonski Brod it can be as liitle as a day. However, you have to register in the place you are working in and cannot choose to register somewhere else unfortunately. There are actually several representations that have to be made by your lawyer so it is more complicated than in the UK. However, there are backlogs in the courts in some places and these are what account for the extra delay.
