Pula Airport in Croatia announces better connection with Europe: Ryanair, Germanwings and Lufthansa to introduce additional flights in the upcoming season
The Pula airport announces linking with new destinations in the upcoming season. The leading European low cost carrier, Ryanair starts with flights from London Stansted to Pula airport already on 27th March.
Flights from Frankfurt and Brussels to Pula continue this year again, but there is also a new line, from the Norwegian capital of Oslo. Negotiations with Ryanair could bring one or even two new destinations, and one of them is Paris.
JAT has confirmed new flight Pula - Belgrade, twice a week (Mondays and Saturdays) in the period from 2nd June to 15th September. Also, Arkefly company introduces the line Pula- Amsterdam once a week from May to September. New negotiations with the company are in progress.
Most of the new flights will be introduced in May, including a new direct line from Manchester to Pula, of British low cost carrier Jet2.com airline that will connect the two cities once a week, every Saturday, from 19th May to 6th October.
Also in May, a German national carrier Lufthansa introduce its own line to Pula airport, linking it with the Bavarian metropolis of Munich, once a week. Lufthansa will transport passengers between Pula and Munich every Saturday, from 5th May 13th October, wit the additional flight on Sundays during August.
Germanwings airline will continue with flights to Berlin and Cologne twice a week, starting from mid May to the end of October. From June, Norwegian Air Shuttle will connect Pula with Stockholm and Oslo: to Stockholm, twice a week, on Thursdays and Saturdays, in a period from 28th June to 16th August, and to Oslo on Saturdays and Wednesdays, from 30th June to 18th August.
Due to high demand of passengers during the season, the Blue One introduced an additional flight to Helsinki, which normally runs from the 2nd June to 1st September, on Saturdays, and the new, additional line will operate on Mondays, from 2nd July to 6th August.
This year in April, Ryanair offers return tickets from Pula to London (Stansted) at a cost of 45-50 euros, but the luggage (one suitcase of 15 pounds) has to be paid (extra 30 euros).
To return ticket Pula - Oslo, also with Ryanair, for example, in August costs about 150 euros without case. However, one should know that the prices decrease if you purchase a month or two earlier. In May, a return ticket for the same destination via the same company costs about 50 to 60 euros, without luggage, which should also be pay 30 euros.
It should be noted that it is common for low cost carriers to have a higher prices six months before the flight, than two months before the flight.
