Budget carrier Jet2 has revealed that, from next year, they will be offering new routes to Croatia from Manchester airport. Offering those in the region access to a popular holiday destination, the flights to Pula will start in May 2012 providing travellers with the perfect beach getaway.
Located on the Croatian coast, Pula is an established holiday retreat offering visitors beautiful beaches to enjoy. In addition, the area is rich with culture, with holidaymakers able to explore one of world's most complete Roman amphitheatres.
Starting from 19th May, the new Jet2 flights will offer travel between Manchester and Pula once a week. Steve Heapy, the airline's Chief Commercial Officer, said "we are able to give the people of the North West the chance to jet away to three great resorts in Croatia - one of the top 10 holiday destinations for 2012." He added "We are committed to further expanding our route network so local holidaymakers have an unrivalled choice of great value flights and holidays to some of Europe's most exciting destinations."
With the British desire to continue taking holidays, remaining high and the recent Post Office survey revealing that Croatia was a top destination, holidaymakers are flocking to the nation in their thousands. And with Jet2's latest portfolio addition, those in the North West can enjoy travel choice like never before.
