The main road through Porec is currently disrupted while a roundabout is being constructed on the junction by Konsum/Lakop, formerly controlled by traffic lights. Presently, the road is blocked from the OMV petrol station in the North to the entrance to the Konsum car park, in the South. The road alongside Konsum, leading up to the industrial area, is only accessible from the top (Eastern)end, off the new ring road.
Diversions are in place for traffic approaching Porec from the North, leading it along the new ring road and away from the town.

Initially, although much of Konsum's carpark was closed, including the cafe in the corner, part was still open. It is all now closed and appears to be having a multistorey car park erected upon it. Konsum, itself, remains open, but with greatly reduced trade.

The construction of the roundabout continues and it is still necessary to follow the new ring road to access the centre of Porec if approaching the town from the North.
There is another, smaller, roundabout being constructed in Tar, where the road from Kastelir-Labinci comes into town, but this is not causing any diversions.

The local love affair with roundabouts continues !
A new one is being constructed North of Porec on the Novigrad road at the Cervar junction and is currently causing hold ups.
I do wish Croatian media would offer some training on signalling and priority at roundabouts. The foreigners are used to them but the locals aren't !

The installation of sewerage pipes along the Porec-Vizinada road continues.
There are currently traffic lights controlling single lane working at Kastelir.

There are currently hold ups on Mate Vlasica, the road leading up from Konsum to the industrial area, while excavations are progreesively moving along.
Best to approach Mate Vlasica from the roundabout on the ring road at the top end if you want Lidl, Plodine or Kaufland.

More roundabout construction ! The old main road past Porec is currently blocked while the traffic lights by the new sports centre are being changed to a big roundabout. Diversions are in place from the hospital traffic lights down into town and traffic coming into town from the Pazin direction is being diverted through the industrial area. They are also changing the temporary roundabout there to a permanent one.

The road into Porec from the Pazin direction is open again. New roundabouts have been constructed where the ring road starts and down by the sports centre.

Porec is disrupted at the moment while a new roundabout is being constructed at Spadici. The road is blocked between there and the former OMV petrol station. Access from the north is via the ring road and coming in via the industrial area.

The road into Porec from the North is likely to remain closed into June. As well as the roundabout at Spadici, the road is being widened all the way down to the former OMV petrol station, involving major work.
