An interesting one came up yesterday. A client bought two apartments 3 yrs ago in a new development and as they came from a country that does not offer reciprocity, we organised setting up a Croatian company for them with which to buy them. Because the ownership is vested in a company, for them to stay there, which of course was the main reason they bought them, they have been told that technically they need to have a rental agreement with their own company.
Food for thought !
